Lovable
Settlr is an AI-powered onboarding app I built using Vibe to help new immigrant students adapt smoothly to a new country. The goal was to simplify the overwhelming settling-in process through personalized, guided task lists.
Immigrant students often struggle with scattered information and unclear next steps when moving abroad. I wanted to design an app that not only lists tasks but understands which tasks matter most, and when.
Using Lovable’s no-code AI environment, I implemented prompt chaining to break complex interactions into modular, context-aware steps. Each task recommendation was generated based on user attributes like visa type, city, and priorities, allowing for contextual adaptability.
I used few-shot prompting to teach the AI tone and structure, ensuring responses stayed consistent.
Through multiple prompt tests and iterative refinement, I balanced system prompt engineering with UX microcopy to make it sound approachable while remaining informative.
Settly transforms static checklists into an adaptive, guided experience helping students navigate housing, documentation, and local systems confidently from day one.
Building Settlr was an exercise in merging UX intuition with AI logic. It pushed me to think beyond interface design — to shape how intelligence itself could guide, adapt, and empathize. Working hands-on with prompt engineering taught me how subtle phrasing, tone, and logic sequencing can transform user trust. More than a prototype, Settly became a reminder that when designed thoughtfully, AI can feel less like a tool — and more like a companion.
